Resume help

Ok, I haven’t done a resume in years. I’ve been at my current position for over 7 years. So can someone give me some pointers?

Do I need a cover letter?

Do I list my cuurent job requirements are?

What is with listing goals?

Again any help with be great, i am completely lost.


Also what about a objective do i need to have one of those. i keep hearing that they are no longer needed.

If would join and look at the resume of those in similar positions as yours or the one you are looking for.

And yes, objectives are no longer used, from what I understand... Which makes perfect sense because really, WHY would you need to point your objects? You are sending a resume, obviously you are looking for a job, and any details you want to add to that should be covered in cover letter.
