crashing with this from the parenting board
Ok i know i have written about something similar to this ...its in regards to my dd sleeping sooo much.
My dd is now 4 months old very alert , laughs , holds most of her toys, you cant pry her woobie away at times lol.
My routine for the most part with her is...she wakes up around 7am (ecept the past two days she woke up at 4 and then today at 5 am for a bottle then back to sleep. Then she wakes up around 9-10 for another bottle and lil bit of rice cereal...we play for a lil bit then she gets a lil moddy and falls asleep in her swing watching mickey, she can sleep all the way to her next feeding almost 3-4 hours . She wakes up i play a lil with her till she cries for the bottle this is around 2-4 pm she will eat then i try to keep her up till again she rubs her eyes and gets fussy another nap in swing or rock and play ( she dont like sleeping on her belly yet so i do tummy time in baby steps with her , she just rolled from her belly to her back the other day) . Wakes up around 7 sometimes i wake her so i can bathe her bottle her keep her up a lil to digest ill hold her sitting up or in her bumbo and then again she is sleeping till around 11 12 am when she will get a bottle (asleep or not ) then in our room to sleep for the night.
Does this seem normal her ped keeps saying yea its a growth spurt but really i mean every time this is what im told.
Today i made the big mistake of googling things...i had mono when i was young...then i was diagnosed with ebstein bar it isnt bad unless i gain weight like when i was preg and then lost some weight now im gaining again cause of stress (nothing due to dd just everyday things) i am sick just thinking that this could be past along to her. I called my dr earlier but they were out of the office and same with her ped....am i over thinking this could she really just be going through a long growth spurt or could it be something more? sorry so long im just home alone dh is working and dd is of course sleeping and i have some time on my hands right now driving myself nuts.

Re: crashing with this from the parenting board
my first ds did this. he would sleep most of the day - it was so quiet and peaceful. any noise would be background noise which was prob soothing to him. he was sleeping thru the night at 10 weeks old took 3-4 naps a day - each nap lasting about 2 -3.
i forgot when exactly he went to 2 naps.
ds is now 7.5 months old but is complete opposite started sleeping thu the night at about 6 months old (that only lasted a month)- he was waking 1-2x a night taking 2 naps a day. Now he wakes up at 2am and falls asleep again until 8. he has a morning nap around 11am if my older ds is inside being quiet is usually a 3 hr nap, if its too noisy (ds1 banging toys and screaming) ds2 wakes up after half hr or so. he takes another nap around 4-5pm for 2 hrs or so, has dinner and goes to bed again at 8pm.
i would post on the parenting board - you may get a lot more responses there.

Re: crashing with this from the parenting board
thank you ...dd is going to be 5 months on the 20th and she just went to the dr on mon for her shots...and we are going to have a big change lol...pretty much your set up...so we are going to slowly do away with her last feeding at midnight and make her last one around 8pm....fingers crossed she also told me to try to feed her cereal twice a day once in the morn and once in the evening to make her more full and maybe help with her sleeping through the night since she will losing that last bottle (unless she wakes up looking for it) thank you for sharing :)

Re: crashing with this from the parenting board
The swing may be helping her sleep longer... my DS would sleep forever in the swing or car but only an hr in the crib. He's still like this today at 14 months
