I hate Albany
They are really messing me up with renewal of my certification. For those who applied for professional after having initial, besides paying, did you have to mail any paperwork to Albany?

When you apply/pay, a form should pop up that says what you still need to do. For mine, I had to resend in all of my transcripts and I also needed to provide them with proof that I was mentored. Once I received everything in the mail, I sent it in and my application was processed shortly after that.

same. there should be a checklist of what you still need to provide them with on TEACH

MY advice would be to put it in through Boces. Soo much easier, and less stressful

I got a letter saying they needed proof that I was mentored. had to go back to my old district n get a letter from them to mail to albany.

It does not make sense to me that I have to give them my transcripts again when they got them for my initial...Albany is ridiculous!
