Don't know where else to post...
Hi Ladies,
I'm new to this board, and a little apprehensive to post here because DH and I didn't miscarry, I had a D&E after learning about that my baby had a rare congenital heart defect that was life threatening. It was the hardest decision we've ever made, but it was made out of love for our baby. I've spent the last week in isolation, feeling more alone, angry and hurt than ever before. I realize that I need to move on for myself, my husband and my family. We have a 2 year old DD, and desperately want more children. Anyway, I don't feel right posting on the TTC board because I don't know how easy it will be for us to TTC (both emotionally and physiologically). Can I join you here?

 im so very sorry.... a friend of mine had to make the decision to terminate or to continue her pregnancy also.

I had a loss at 17wks and had a D&E last year as well, you are not alone

Thank you ladies. This has been the hardest week of my life--the feeling of loss is overwhelming at times. DH and I just want to watch our little family grow--I don't know how or when, but hopefully we will still have a chance to.

i'm so sorry for your loss.. a couple of years ago we also had to make the heart wrenching decision to have a d&c at 12weeks because of life threatening defects with our baby. my prayers go out to you

So sorry you had to go through that You made the best possible choice for your family and honestly, if I was in your position, I would have the same. Good luck in TTC in the future!

I can't tell you how so very sorry I am for your loss.
You are not alone. My DH and I talked about the same thing if we were to get PG. If I were in the same position I would make the same decision.

Thank you, again, for your kind words. I went to the doctor yesterday and was told to wait 3 months before TTC again. We're still waiting for genetic test results to come in.
I went back to work today. It was hard to be there simply because the last time I was there, I was happy, naive and still pregnant--hoping it gets better with time!
