Had my baby girl on 11/10/11
Sorry it took so long to post...I'm loving being a mom!
Here's my story....
I was due on November 6th and that day came and went. On the 9th I had a doctors appointment where I was hooked up to a monitor to see if I was having contractions (which I was but they weren't painful).
That night when I went to sleep I continued to have contractions and was sleeping on and off because my dog kept getting up to go outside...so I'm not sure if the contractions were keeping me awake or the dog.
Around 5 am I had the "bloody show" but as people warned me it could be days away from labor. I crawled back in bed and around 6AM the contractions felt more regular and laying down didn't feel good so I stood up and BAM my water broke. Holy nastiness! It was like it wouldn't stop!!! I jumped in the shower and then called my doctor. He said that it can be 24 hours so take my time, get my stuff together, and since the office didn't open for a few hours to go to the hospital to be checked.
We got to St.Charles after 7AM and I had to sign a million papers and then I walked up to the floor. I was checked and was 3 centimeter dilated and then around 9AM I was five.
My doctor came back into the room at about 9:40 or so, checked me and I was 9 centimeters and said that if I felt like I wanted to push I could.
Juliana was born at 9:53 AM (8 pounds 12 ounces 20 inches long)....no pain meds and maybe about 5 minutes (or less) of pushing). The nurses kept saying I did amazing and kept repeating "you know she isn't on any pain meds. She's doing amazing".
I am soooo in love with her!

Oh what a cutie!!!! That must have been so amazing to have such a quick labor & delivery!!  She is gorgeous and all the best to you and your fam!
