TTC and Starting Clomid

I am TTC for about a year now. I have annovulation issues although I do ovulate once every few months. The one time I did ovulate in June 2011 I misscarried after 4 weeks. I havent ovulated since. My doctor wants to start me on clomid next month for the first time as my HSG came back pretty much clear. Thank God. Im a little confused and nervous about Clomid. He also told me I have a slight chance of having an ectopic? But only a slight chance. I am very nervouse about that now. Anyone have experience good or bad on Clomid? Also, anyone want to be clomid buddies?

Ive done 7 cycles of clomid paired with an iuis. Clomid gave me hot flashes but that was the only real side effect I had. I did not respond to low doses so I had to increasing until I got to 200 mg a day. I have a 15 month old dd from a clomid iui cycle in 2009 and I'm 14 weeks pg now from my clomid iui cycle in September. Best of luck to you!!!!

I have had 4 cycles of clomid and 2 with iui's...

the good is that it actually worked for me..not everyone responds...I developed 3 and 4 follicles...and the bad for me is that it thinned out my uterine lining so I have to take estrogen started orally and now vaginally... I hope you are seeing an RE because on clomid you need to be monitored regularly.
