St. Gerard
So I just got home from a pretty crappy day and I open mail from my friend Val (Joenick). She sent me a thinking of you card. BUt she also sent me a St. Gerard medal in the card. And she wrote that he is the Patron Saint of Conception & Pregnancies and that it has been blessed and given to her when she was trying with her first.
I am in tears right now and just wanted to share.

Someone sent me this while I was trying as well. I hung it on my lampshade by my bed and shortly thereafter conceived..........Good Luck!!!

There is a prayer that goes with it as well.
The prayer goes as follows:
O Glorious St. Gerard, powerful intercessor before God, and wonder worker of our days, I call upon you and seek your help. You who always fulfilled God`s will on earth, help me to do God`s holy will. Intercede with the Giver of life, from whom all parenthood proceeds, that I might conceive and raise children who will please God in this life and be heirs to the kingdom of heaven. Amen

So funny! That is my local parish's name and I have been debating which of the 2 parishes near me to join (not really to religious - just wanted to be sure we had a place to baptize someday). Well, now I know which one I am picking!

My cousin's wife had a really hard pregnacy and birth with one of her boys (very "touch and go") and she named him Gerard.

I am so glad I was able to brighten up your day, if even just a little bit. I love ya so much and I am praying right along with you for a little miracle. I hope St.Gerard blesses you- you are a wonderful friend and deserve every happiness. Now go kiss that medal and let's get going on a BFP!!!

That was very sweet.
I'm actually wearing one now as well that a friend gave me. She wore it when she conceived after trying for years and got her BFP that 1st month wearing it.

I wear two medals pinned to the inside of my bra and have a statue on my nightstand
