With the year almost over, who made their book goal?
I didn't have a goal in mind, but I know a lot of people were doing the 111 in 2011 idea. Just wondering how people did for the year.

Re: With the year almost over, who made their book goal?
I didn't. I'm just finishing book 72 of a goal of 75. I *might* be able to do it though since it's so damn dead at work, but I doubt it.

Re: With the year almost over, who made their book goal?
Wow! I am trying to figure out a realistic goal for myself for 2012. I don't know if I could get close to 75. Maybe I'm a slow reader? I might shoot for 60 = 5 books a month. Even that seems like it would be tough!

Re: With the year almost over, who made their book goal?
Honestly, I think having the goal took the fun out of reading for me because I rushed through so many books just to reach my goal. I didn't really take the time to immerse myself in a book the way I usually do. KWIM?
I wouldn't worry about pushing yourself. I would just enjoy reading at your own pace.

Not even close! I started out ahead of the game but I got stuck on a few snooze fest books and totally lost my momentum.

Re: With the year almost over, who made their book goal?
Wow, I envy all those who have read so many books this year. I didn't set a goal, and good thing too because I probably wouldn't have made it.
Maybe 2012 will be a year I set a goal and achieve.
Great job to everyone who set goals and exceeded, achieved, or attempted!!!
