i have an otterbox defender///it makes the phone so much bigger but i dont care since it is in my pocketbook....i have dropped it a number of times and when i say dropped it was like on concrete and tile floors. it is still perfect
hth
i have it in pink and black
Same here. Mine is white and purple and I have to say that case is a godsend!
I already had to replace a phone due to moisture getting inside it and I feel like most cases do not protect your phone's ports from the one thing (besides breakage) that can damage it the most. My DD knocked over an entire glass of soda at a restaurant onto my phone and I was freaked I would be replacing number 2. After I wiped it off, I opened it and the phone itself was bone dry and not a drop of soda reached inside the case. That alone made me happy I got the otterbox because pretty cases that are light are nice and all, but I'm more about functionality and protection.
iPhone is great but it's so damn delicate. I love that my case protects the hell out of the phone.

I have three cases-a bedazzled one for fun, an Otter Box commuter series, which I think looks nice, but too bulky, and my favorite, a Speck case.
Go on Amazon. I would not spend 40 on a case-I got my Speck case for 6 bucks (retails for 35)

the first one you posted, although I love the style, it seems as though it would be awkward to hold the phone without flipping it all the way open....doing so would probably cause the cover to crack over time...how about a cover that flips up instead...that way you can easily hold the phone and are not forced to fold it back all the way, you would just need to flip it open.
The only downside to phone covers that completely cover the phone are that you are not able to see the caller id without having to open it all up.

DH got me this one for Xmas, its a leather Sena case that snaps on amd off on the back..it has no screen protector though: (it is pricey but I think its worth the $ to use something that protects the phone from drops, etc)

I would post the pic but I am on my Ipad and dont how to post pics on this yet.
I also bought another case at Target where you just slide the phone into a shell and the top folds over the front of the Iphone- so I use 2 cases and it protects it pretty well.

thanks for all the suggestions! I still have no clue which one to get! If I bought both of the ones I posted it would be about $10 total, so worst case scenerio I may just buy them to have something to protect the phone and continue looking!!
