Dh is so mad at me...
His sister had a party today and I decided to go because I heard that not many people would be there. I packed DS up and we went. Well, we get there and there were 60 people there. So many little kids that were clearly sick. Coughing and sneezing all over the place. And because of the rain, everyone was inside. After 20 mins I told DH I was going home. He was so mad at me. He told me that the baby would be fine and I am exaggerating. DS won't get sick unless they hold him or touch him.
Then his Mom also starts telling me that I am crazy, DS will be fine
DH took us home and went back to the party and told me to come back when there are less people there. No thanks. We are fine at home. He wouldn't talk to me the whole ride home!!!!!!
Umm, I think your son's health should be a little more important to you. He is only a month old.
I just had to vent. Thank you.

I would have left too.
There is a difference when it is 1 or 2 kids, but when there is alot - I wouldn't want to take the chance.

If your baby gets a fever during the 1st 2 months than he has to go to the hospital and have a series of tests including a spinal tap!!!! Cause they have to rule out meningitits. You absolutely did the right thing. You were protecting your baby. Good Mommy!!
