One year ago today..
I ran my last five mile run. January 1st was the day I hurt my knee. I've seen two doctors, did PT, had xrays and an MRI.
I'm on a workout hiatus while TTC (as per doctor's orders)- little to no exercise.
I miss running and working out like I used to. I gained 8lbs since my wedding (once again, doctor's orders).
Once we are finally able to have a baby I hope to get to a new doctor and get my knee fixed. I would love to go back to running again! I can't believe its been a year. Even now going down stairs is so hard for me.
Anyway.....take of yourselves ladies! Hoping I will be joining all the runners again by 2013-14!

I bet you miss running! It's all for good reason though. I went through the same thing TTC and it took a while. Don't lose heart...you may be pregnant before you know it!! Good luck in 2012!

Do whatever you have to do to get pregnant and after you have your babies then you can work on getting your body back. You are so dedicated to eating right and exercise, I know you will be back in shape in no time after kids.
Don't give up on running! Try new things (more supportive sneaker, maybe barefoot running). Try a running coach and work on form. It is obviously something you love so don't give up!
