Virginia Beach, VA...there is a big boardwalk there. I can give you a review, after 7/8...thats when we get back!

If you're looking for something on a smaller scale, you can look into Westerly, RI. From there you're a short drive away from Narraganset, Newport, Block Island Ferry, the casinos, Mystic, etc...

You might also want to try Nags Head, Duck or Corolla NC (Corolla and Duck and further North, while Nags Head is down a ways)
