Anyone with a cranky "I don't wanna go" kid this morning?
Oh how I wish Emily was a morning person who woke up excited to go back to school and see her friends again this morning!
We went over our long list of exciting things that she had to talk to her friends about last night before bed.
She lost her first tooth on Christmas Eve and the tooth fairy and Santa came on the same night!
She got a Nintendo DS for Christmas!
We got a new flat screen TV and rearranged the entire living room!
But even so...she was so cranky this morning. I told her last night that she could wear a dress to school this morning since it wasn't a gym day, and I guess she misunderstood me. She thought she was going to wear a floor length dress (we don't even have any) and threw a total hissy fit when I pulled out regular dresses that she wears on a regular basis!
So I sent my daughter on the bus hysterically crying over something that I found so silly!
Anyone else's kids have a rough morning!
Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Same here. Nicholas didn't want to get up. When getting ready he was complaining about the t shirt he was going to wear, about having to wear two jackets because it is SO cold, about having to wear gloves, about having to carry his back pack  Everything was a problem this morning. I hope tomorrow is better as well!

Yeah we had a meltdown over having to change out of warm pj's into a cold shirt, then a few minutes later over taking his shoe off after i just put it on. I said I am not helping, do it yourself and water works took over.....i hope it goes better tomorrow for all!

My 8yo Needed Help getting dressed and then took forever to get it together. He missed chorus and was all upset about having to take the bus.

My ds slept till 10 am which he never does. I kept him home from nursery bc I wasn't going to wake him
