Looking for IVF doctor referral

I am looking to go for a second opinion. I am currently going to Long Island IVF. Any suggestions would be great.

I go to North Shore LIJ Center for Human repoduction and I absolutely love them. The nurses are so friendly, and I love the doctors for the most part. I actually got very attached to Dr. Chu there. I think maybe because she's a woman. Love her!

I go to RMA. My doctor works out of the NYC office, but they have a satellite office in Garden City for monitoring. I'm not sure what location you're looking for, but he's the greatest.

I am using Dr Droesch. Long Island IVF. She is very nice. My FSH level is really high and I was told I am going to need to get an egg donor. I would like to get a second opinion.

I saw Dr Park at Columbia in NYC.

I see Dr. Kenigsberg there but started with Dr.Kukanon. They told me the same exact thing. I am lucky due to the fact that my sister is in the process of donating to me so that I dont have to pay for a donor. I hope all works out with you and I would love to know what your second opinion says.

Do you mind if I ask you hold old you are? The whole ovarian failure is still just blowing my mind. My sister sees that doctor also. She has an appointment tomorrow night to speak with the egg donor nurse. She is also having fertility issues and is at the stage of looking for a donor. Unfortunately I am just beginning this horrible journey. You are very lucky to have a sister that can and is willing to donate to you. Do you mind me asking what steps you have already taken? Whether or not you tried IUI or IVF or both. I am now currently taking Clomed. I needed for a piece of mind see if my body has any type of response to it. I know it is unlikely but I needed to try something just in case there was a possibility that it could work.

I would definitely go for a second opinion before beginning the Egg Donor process. Another Dr. might have a different approach or protocol to help lower FSH and/or stimulate.

Keep asking for recommendations for specific Dr.s and research those that specialize in your area of interest. I applaud you and the PP for being open and honest about your journey. It's not easy but there is a ton of support if you just ask.

Thank you but no applaud necessary. I just know if it is happening to me it is happening to other people out there. And if we can help each other from this experience at least we can get something good out of it. My concern with going to get another opinion is that you are always going to find someone who is going to tell you what you want to hear. I dont want to have to take medication and go through unnecessary procedures if they are not going to work. I feel that some doctors are going to try and do whatever they can for the money. That is something i really admire about my Dr. I dont think she will do anything if it is not in my best interest.

I wanted to let you know I went to see Dr Chu for a second opinion. I loved her. She was so nice. Unfortunately she gave me the same diagnosis of my current Dr.

I went for my second opinion. Unfortunately I have the same diagnosis. My sister is going to get checked to see if she is able to be an egg donor for me. Do you know if there is a age limit for her to be a donor for me.. How is your process going
