Do people get to be back stabbers? Etc? And how do u cope?

No one in our agency wants anything with more responsibility.

I have been a supervisor before and stepped down when I came back from maternity leave. Too much drama and aggravation.

For me, yes. Lot of entitlement and it's pretty low morale all around. Just sucks!

um, not exactly in the way your probably mean but if you are making a move to another department, lateral or promotion, a lot of that goes on and ive been the subject of it....for some reason, people get very nasty if you are moving departments (as your own choice) and start backstabbing, etc.

honestly, i coped very badly so no advice there, sorry.... i was being talked about by my old department, basically they were all lying to cover each others asses and making me out to be a liar in the proces...blah blah blah....it was a very difficult time and i really couldnt turn to anyone, expect to know that once i was around the new people who i would be working with it would be much better and also that i had to do the right thing for myself. also, tried to concentrate on it as a learning experience of who these people really were.
