What a lovely surprise I got this morning
I decided to sleep in this morning and have only been up about an hour now. So Russ and I are sitting in the living room and the chinchilla's or rabbits were making these crazy noises. So I get up and check to see what it is going on. Chinchilla's were making the noise, however they were fine (they are nocturnal and the dogs were sticking their noses in the cage waking them up). Look over to the rabbits and see a pile of hair MOVING. Yes I said moving. I started screaming of course, so I get closer and the rabbits had babies (definitely not both male like we were told when we bought them). Oh well, I guess its time to figure out what I need to do. Anyone with any experience with this who can share some tips?
All I can say is thank god I am an huge animal lover :)

while I have no clue what to do (other than suggest to separate the male and female, unless you want more rabbit babies...) ...

So there appears to be two babies. The rabbits are being very protective so it was rough trying to get close enough to see how many. The babies are underneatht he nest they built. I will try to get pics as soon as the bunnies geta little more comfortable with everything.

Get special food for babies.
I have not have rabitts for years but we used to give them special food for babies. With extra vitamins.
Separate all males/females ASAP.
