omg worst nose bleed everrrrr and i barfed at the same time! help
ihavent had a nose bleed in over 10 years if not more. sitting here blew my nose softly and omg....the horror the horror...flowing everywhere on the floor etc....then i started barfing all over....
now i am on lovenox that is a blood thinner for thrombophilia....
so is the lovenox causing the bleeding or just a reg prenancy nosebleed that is made worse from lovenox?
i am a hot scared bloody mess!

Nosebleeds are very common during pregnancy. At one point in the middle of my second trimester I was getting 3 or so a day! Im guessing the lovenox would definitely make it worse though. I'm sorry you had to go through that though! It must have been really scary... if it continues I'd say call your doc to see if they can recommend you take something to minimize the bleeding.

I get nose bleeds at least every other day, sometimes every single day. On occasion twice a day . same with my first pregnancy. my doctor said they are totally normal. she did say if you can not stop the bleeding or it does not decrease in about 20 minutes then call.
i would just mention it at your next visit especially since you are on blood thinners.

i got nosebleeds a lot. the lovenox def makes it worse.

I have been getting them as well this pregnancy - especially now with the heat on and everything is dry. It's a normal pregnancy thing (although I didn't get them with DS).

I have no clue about lovenox but I do know that nosebleeds are common during pregnancy & I got a CRAZYYYYYYY one (just once though) a few weeks ago where you wouldve thought I got shot in the brain or something.
Hope this is just a one time thing for you too!!!

Crashing. This s gonna sound nuts but stick your head in the freezer. It does something to the capillaries and stops nosebleeds very quickly. My moms on blood hinners.

I get them a lot too....hope you feel better soon! I was sick until? 24 weeks,yucky!
