Keeping them safe!!!
I am not sure if this is a question or just a vent.......My twins will be one next week and I feel like this may be the hardest stage yet! Even when DH and I are right there they still manage to get bumps and bruises constantly. we have a completely baby proof room and they still can bump their heads on toys etc.
I am sure I am really feeling it because we just spent 5 days in north carolina in a totally non baby proofed house and now that we have been home I have been stuck inside with them for the last few days since they are sick.
Any tricks on how to tag team them and keep them safe and occupied especially when you are alone?
thanks!!

Re: Keeping them safe!!!
Honestly I think it's just how kids are. I think if there was only one they would still get hurt and bruises. They get too excited and fall or just don't know enough to pay attention and bump into something..it happens. You can't be there to protect them from everything whether you have 1 or 5.
Don't feel bad at all. It's very common for one if not both to have a bruise or scratch somewhere on their body.

Thanks! I know it happens! I think we are just in a rough patch with DS. He bumped his head BAD when we were away and then hit the same spot again when we got home. Poor guy!
Who knew that this stage would be harder than the newborn stage even with breastfeeding
