Need Zumba recommendations
I'm looking to do Zumba with a bunch of friends. Can you recommend a place, an instructor there, time of class and how much per class. Also, some sort of studio with mirrors would be best. I'm looking in western suffolk either north or south shore. Thanks.

Re: Need Zumba recommendations
Carolyn's Dancenter in Plainview has several Zumba classes a week, all different instructors, all good. I know you said Suffolk, but it is about 5 minutes from the Melville border. Hope

This is 5 minutes from my house. Do you know how much a class is?

Re: Need Zumba recommendations
The classes are $12 for a walk in and you can buy a punch card for $100 for ten classes.

Re: Need Zumba recommendations
I do it in my living room! Just started with the Zumba game for Playstation Move. I really like it so far, but having a belt that holds the controller is a little bit annoying.
If only I had the room for XBox Kinect.

I go to lucille roberts in Commack. They have Zumba at least 4 times a week and all the classes are great.

Jealous! It must be so much more comfortable than having the stupid belt wrapped around me.
I did the first two beginner classes and was going to skip to the next but I realized that I wasn't putting enough effort into each move. I was merely doing the steps.
Two days ago, I did weights in the morning and Zumba at night, really used my muscles for all the lower body moves, and I'm STILL sore 2 days later. Love it!
