My poor Dodger!
DH just got back from taking him to the vet for a "found dog checkup." They said that this poor baby has been on the run for about a month! I'm so glad we found him; he must've been so cold and scared!
Aside from that though, they said he is in great health. He's mostly shepherd (they didn't say which type...I think probably Dutch shepherd from the way he looks) and a bit of pit bull. He's about 1.5 years old, and he weighs 42 lbs.

That poor poor baby. I wonder what he survived on. Thank GOD he found you. I am sure you have given him a good meal or two.
If I am not confusing you, you are the one who made those killer ribs with the breadcrumbs, right? I haven't made them but I STILL think about how awesome they looked and sounded.

So wait ... has someone claimed him? Or are you still able to keep him?
How did the vet know that he was on the run for over a month?
Our Charlie acted very much like a stray when we got her. It makes me sad sometiome to imagine what life must have been like!

Nope-no one has claimed him. The vet said that she could tell by the condition of his nails.
Awww It is so sad to think of them just constantly being on the run.
