Zumba DVDs
anyone have them? Is it similar to going to a class or are the moves much easier/harder?
I used to do Zumba before I got pregnant and would like to get back into it, but cant get to an actual class and saw the DVD set on amazon for around 50$

the DVDs are great i LOVE them, but at least for me it doesn't compare to the actual class... the DVDs for me are more for practicing the steps...

Zumba Fitness total body transformation DVD set.comes with 2 Toning sticks. & 4DVDs. The DVDs have 6 workouts including basics, express workout, sculpt & tone & cardio party.
I miss Zumba but there is no way I can get to classes right now & I have at leastb 20lbs of baby weight to lose and DD is already 7 months
I'm still bfing & I think somehow it's inhibiting some weight loss...along with the fact that until last week ive been eating whatever I want whenever I want & doing very little exercise.

i have the newer ones the Exhillarate set... made by the same dancers.
never seen these these so i can't really compare, but it doesn't look bad...
some good ways to get back into Zumba is to youtube some videos and make a playlist of 12 songs, and work out to that. this way you can pick the songs you like...
youtube is where most of the instructors get their stuff from.
i didn't go back to the gym until my youngest was 2 years old (July) and I'm down over 20 lbs but still have a good 30 to go... i came to halt over the holidays.
i do give credit to most of my weight loss to Zumba.. i Zumba about 5-6 times a week, along with cross training of other Cardio work outs.
its a fun way to loose weight...

I agree! I have tons of fun doing Zumba! Congrats on the weight you've lost!!!
I think I'm going to order the set bc I have an amazon gift card and it can't be that bad...I'll update when I get them & workout!

I have that one. I liked it at first but then became bored with it quickly doing the same routines over and over.
