What are side effects..
that you get with prenatal vitamins
I have been feeling very crampy and bloated for the last 2 weeks. Like I have to go to the bathroom but yet I dont. And not constipated crampy.
Is this part of the prima care prenatals?

I am on Prima Care also and having been having the EXACT same issues.... yesterday my stomach was killing me all day.... cramps.... terrible, and I am bloated also.... I never associated the two, but it does make sense...
I know the pre-natals are high in iron.... that may have something to do with it...

witch if it doesn't agree with you. I have Cal nate I think and never a problem-I take them with soda in the am in the pm doesm't matter

HTH ladies- I was just on a site and found this- maybe you should try switching brands.
The taste and texture of vitamins do bother some women. If you can't keep your prenatal down, consider switching brands.

That's the one I'm on. It says to take with plenty of water and to take on an empty stomach and only take it once a day.
You take it twice a day?

No sorry I was typing quickly. I meant I take them whenever. I heard that if you take them in the PM they won't bother you because you will be sleeping. I take them whenever Ithink about it.(so morning or night) and I actually have a sensitive stomach.

i took the cvs prenatals for two weeks and was constantly nauseaus and my stomach bothered me...i stop taking them and am now just taking a multi vitamin and a folic acid and i'm fine..
