I hate our My Ride 65.
The straps keep sliding down.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I can't help but think you get what you pay for. We bought the Radian Diono and love it.
I think we should throw out our My Ride and get another Radian.

What do you mean? We haven't had any strap problems with ours... or any problems at all.

Re: I hate our My Ride 65.
What do you mean the straps keep sliding down?
If FF, the straps may slide down if you have the straps in the wrong slot. The straps should be positioned to come out at or above the shoulders.
For RF, it can happen if the straps are too low below the shoulders.
It can also occur if the straps are too loose.
MyRide is a great seat. I say that having installed many of them in many vehicles with a wide variety of children occupying them.

The seat cover (?) falls down and pulls the straps down with it. DH says I just have to pull the seat cover up. I do this everyday and then it falls down again.

The cover shouldn't be falling off, if this is happening maybe you got a defective cover. Call Graco.
ETA: If it is the added supports, just take them out

Re: I hate our My Ride 65.
I have the same exact problem and CAN NOT stand it.....thought we were the only ones having this problem....I hate going out with the baby for this very reason....my support slides down and has to be constantly readjusted! Then on top of it, when my wears a heavier coat, we can't even strap him in, leaving us to take off his coat and having to wear a blanket....we actually bought a 2nd My Ride and haven't installed it because I'm not totally happy with the one already installed! We even took off the little leg supports because these caused problems too

How old is he? The support doesn't even be in there for most kids, it's a newborn positioner only. If your child fits in the seat without it, just take him out.
And he isn't supposed to wear a heavy coat in the seat, so that is actually correct to take the coat off and use a blanket. Also if you look on the back of the seat you'll see that there is a second and third set of loops on the harness. Extend it to the second set of loops. The seats are usually delivered ready for the smallest babies.

My DS is almost 3yo. Maybe we can take the seat cover thing off.

Re: I hate our My Ride 65.
My is 3 months old. We've adjusted the straps in the back and that seems fine....maybe he just doesn't need the cushioning then? Though to me, his head is more supported with this, since he is still so small. We also won't wear the coat then...this definitely would help.

We have had this seat for almost 2 years and no problems. We just bought a second one for DC#2.
