Carrying 2 and a question
Hi all you super moms!! Happy to say that I am pregnant with twins!
I am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and the last couple of days I've been feeling alot of pressure. I never felt this in the 1st trimester with my son and was wondering if this is normal for twins? It makes it uncomfortable to walk. Sitting down, I am fine.
Thanks!!

Re: Carrying 2 and a question
Congrats!!! Being a twin mommy is the best
With twins, everything is growing and stretching a lot faster so there will be a lot more aches/pains. It can't hurt to mention it to your doctor at your next appointment, but I wouldn't worry. It sounds normal to me!

Congrats!!!
I never had any hip pressure/stretching pains/etc when I was pregnant with my son.
But with the girls it started pretty early (I think around 14 weeks) and lasted my whole pregnancy. The end of the day was always the worst. Felt like a bowling ball was going to fall out between my legs.

Yay!!!! I'm so excited for you!! I had a lot of pressure, pain, pulling, shifting and such. It was my only pregnancy, so I can't say if it was different. But, that was certainly something I experienced.

I am SO EXCITED for you!!! Twins are so awesome! Yes, pressure is definitely normal and it will probably get worse as the weeks go on but totally mention to the dr. and make sure that everything is okay!

Re: Carrying 2 and a question
Thanks ladies, this is some serious pain! I feel like I have to hold my tiny belly to walk!
That coupled with the extreme gas pains (sorry TMI) that have me doubled over, it's like non-stop. End of day is the worse- I'm so sore.
We had our first OB aptmt today and the dr said it was normal because with the 2nd and especially with twins everything is growing so much faster. He mentioned its possible I might have to stop working at 24-28 weeks and I was like nooo! But if it's this bad at 10 weeks, I can only imagine how I'm going to feel in the third trimester.

Re: Carrying 2 and a question
hiii and congrats!!!!!
weird pulls and stretches are normal..its probably part of your body adjusting to the twins.
i dont remember having to hold my stomach but i def had some round ligament pain.
i was terribly gassy in the first few weeks...it tapered off after week 13 but now in week 25 its back in full force!! not fun but it is what it is..
i hope you feel better! and congrats again!!!!!
