when u read...
As time passes can u remembef names places etc??? I haved read so many books and can't remember details but mor the overall messaghed or story. It amazes me how many peiple have such amazing memories!!!!

I'm horrible with names of any type. Even while I'm reading a book, I'll forget some of the minor character names after a few hours of having the book in front of me....

I think it would be amazing if anyone could remember characters from all the books they read. I remember ones from books that I really enjoyed. But even then over time you tend to forget.

Mostly just the overall stuff unless it's a REALLY good book and or it sticks for some reason. There are some lines from some books that I can repeat word for word, but they are few and far between.

I can usually remember the story and general things, but sometimes names completely escape me and also details.
It makes it easier to re-read the same book again in the future

I forget the details. I remember the story, the message, what I got from the book, and the feelings I had while reading and when finished.

I don't remember names usually & other specifics, but I remember the basic plot & how the book moved me... whether I loved it, kinda liked it, or didn't care for it.

I can really only remember character names in books that are part of a series. In general, I remember the plot lines and whether or not I liked, loved, or hated the book. I actually write it down so I do not read the same book twice accidentally!

I remember details about favorite books but that's about it. If I read the summary of other books, it will usually come back to me. But when I read a series of books (Kay Scarpetta, Stephanie Plum), I usually mix up what happened in which book. I bought a duplicate book more than once.

No, but DH is amazing at that. We're reading the same series, and he finished about a book and a half ahead of me, and he can remember details I can't but I just read like 2 chapters ago!
