Vacation and eating
Ok, so we went away for a long weekend and just came back Monday night. Instead of having issues on vacation I let him eat what he wanted. Too much running around to sit with him and bribe him to eat. Basically for a few days he lived on yogurt, crackers, milk, pediasure and goldfish At restaurants he had no problem sitting there playing and not eating no matter how many times pple asked if he wanted something off the kids menu. Nope, my 2 yr old doesn't like french fries, grilled cheese or nuggets I also let him have his paci more than he usually gets So, now we're back home and it's even more of a nightmare to get him to eat. Also, he's talking more and requesting just strawberry yogurt. He won't eat like he did b4 vaca I know we just got back, but I feel like we're at square 1 all over again. He was doing better and not eating babyfood. Plus, I know he hasn't had a BM is 2 days b/c of the carbs and yogurt he's eating. Any advise

Re: Vacation and eating
Hang tough. Only offer him the things you know he will eat - the things he was eating before the vacation. WE try to find places where we can get pizza or bagels - the 2 things he will eat when we are out. These little people are smart and totally know how to manipulate us.
I also let him eat what he wants on vacation, but when we get back, it's right back to the usual menu. If I can't get him to eat more new things, so be it, but we are not at a place where he can start refusing the few things he will eat!
