how do you have your flatscreen tv displayed?
in an entertainment center, mounted on the wall, etc? if you mounted on the wall - do you have something for storage under it or around it, etc? please post pics, i need inspiration!

We have ours lifted over our TV stand. The stand actually has an adjustable bracket behind it that lifts the TV up a little. We have the center speaker under it.

We have a console (from Raymour & Flanagan) & the TV is hung on the wall....DH hid the wire in the wall.

Just flat on a fireplace. The cable box is hidden behind the tv.

Ours sits on a wooden stand with cabinets, kind of like the first picture posted by RocPin.

We don't have any storage under it. We have one of those Eyes mounted on top with the cable and other components in the pantry in the kitchen.

My house is tiny (and way too much wood  )...bought a cheap TV cabinet at Target...the doors were clear glass so I printed out a design on my computer and put it in the window to hide the cable box & stuff stored...remote still works thru the paper.

Our mantle is too high to mount over fireplace, so it is on mounted on stand above entertainment center, like first pic.

i have one above my fireplace on a 70s stone wall. my dad cut a slit out for a floating shelf to go into to make a simple mantel. keeps the heat from going right up to the tv (cheap mantel idea btw!!!). i plan on adding some book shelves on the sides to put the dvd player and things on.
i have another one on a sleek tv stand. it was cheap but it has glass shelves for things so its kinda nice!
