It's behind the door between the living room & dining room which is in the far corner of the room.

we keep ours in the basement, but it's kind of annoying because we always have to leave the door to the basement cracked open so our cat can get to it.

One is in our bedroom (since Sushi is mostly confined to it) and the other is in the space created by the "L" shape of our sofa and recliner (if that makes sense!).

Same! Except we keep the door shut b/c we don't want the dog going down there. Our cats sit by the door and stare at us and/or meow when they want to go down!

ETA: when we're not home, we keep the dog secure in a crate, and leave the basement door ajar for the catsChat Icon

In the "cat room." The upstairs of our house is a short room (just about as tall as I am...5 foot 8), so that is where we keep their boxes, food, water, beds, toys...although their toys tend to traverse everywhere.

Re: if you have a cat

One in the hallway and one in our spare room under a desk.

The one in the hallway DH and I made from an idea off the ikeahackers website.

It looks like this:

That isn't ours, but it looks just like it. It's great to have and it looks like a table in the hallway.

You can get ideas off this site:
Ikea Hackers

If you dig around a bit on that site, you can find more cat box ideas.

Re: if you have a cat

Our covered litter box is in our second bedroom/den, somewhat hidden behind the couch.
I don't have enough space in my bathroom.

Re: if you have a cat

We have two covered litter boxes as my cat had crystals and had surgery in the past prior to adopting him.

We live in an apartment so we have one in my office area and one in the living room.

Re: if you have a cat

We have a small apt so it goes in the tub. We use flushable litter so we just run the water to clean the tub before showering.

Re: if you have a cat

we used to keep it in a spare room but now it is our DS#2 room. So we relocated him to our basement. We just finished it. We made a cat door in the wall into a back storage room and that is where it is.

In our apt it was in our bedroom. I cleaned it like 4 times a day

In my moms she keeps it in the bathroom

Re: if you have a cat

It's in the guest bathroom, but back in our old house, it was in the basement under the stairs and we installed a cat door in the door leading to the basement.
