What is the spread that tastes just like peanut butter but isn't from any nuts?
DS goes to peanut free school but loves peanut butter, so I thought there was something that tastes just like it.

Thanks for posting this. I never heard of that. I will have to try-my nephew has peanut allergy. love to try an alternative.

That's where I get it too. Much cheaper than SunButter. It tastes really similar to peanut butter.

the one that they sell at trader joes-does it say that it is made on machines that also are used with peanuts. most of trader joes stuff says that. idk if that would work for us with my nephews allergy

There is a brand at whole foods that is organic and totally nut free. You can also try cpy nut butter also totally tree nut free

Soy Butter from brand I.M. Healthy, it is sold at Target- My DD has a peanut allergy and it is a GREAT alternative!! We even bake cookies with it!

Definitely Sunflowerbutter. We tried the soynut one but it gave my DD rashes (she isn't allergic to soy) and DD said it had an after taste. But she really likes the sunflower butter- the one we get says it is peanut and tree nut free. With all of her allergies peanut butter is one of the few things she can have but with a peanut/treenut free school it is an excellent alternative. It is also what DD's peanut allergic friends eat. I'm pretty sure it is the Sunbutter brand one we use and I know it is processed in a treenut/peanut free facility.
