thanks I love to cook. Tonight I was in no mood and was just going to grill chicken but then I started to chop veggies and that's what I ended up with. DH laughs because I always say "Grilled Chicken tonight" and he gets home and it's never just grilled chicken.

its pretty scary actually- i set a grilled cheese on fire without even having an open flame anywhere near it (we have an electric stove).
the only thing i know how to make is Potato Salad, a mess, small fires, and Reservations!

yeah... DH definately didnt marry me for my skills in the kitchen (well, cooking anyway )... He's the chef in the relationship. Sometimes he tries to threaten me that he wont cook for me (like to hold it over my head), so i go right back at him with "Fine, then I WILL cook for both of us- and you Will eat it!" (he usually abandones his argument then and there )

My mother doesn't cook either. My father comes home from work every night and cooks dinner for both of them. She'll tell you, it's a blessing to just come from work and relax. And she gets home first! Last night I went there for dinner and he made grilled Salmon & Halibut with a pineapple/mango/cucumber chutney (homemade). He also made scallops & shrimp in a sweet soy sauce glaze ... I love visiting them, it's always a feast.
