I thought it was funny but doesn't beat John Lennon's "For those of you in the cheap seats I'd like ya to clap your hands to this one; the rest of you can just rattle your jewelry!”"

Re: Get off your Rich As*es
As if he isn't . He was arrested for 2.6 grams of cocaine. Then he is performing saying it's for Whitney. He also performed a song for Amy Winehouse at the VMAs. Hypocrite, much?
There should be a rule: you can't perform at the Grammy's if you have a drug charge. All it does is enable performers and then they boo hoo when one of their own die. I'm sure many performers and their handlers would re-evaluate treatment plans if it meant they couldn't be nominated for a Grammy or perform. Just saying.

Not sure today is a good day for this comment. I think they want to honor her tonight just the same as I do without the drug comments.

Re: Get off your Rich As*es
His album is great and I think if he wasn’t up against Adele it would win. On a side note what was Fergie wearing???

When is the right time? Before another talented artist dies? We have lost amazing artists, all young and well before their time. Drugs are rampant in the industry and everyone looks the other way. The managers, the record labels, the publicists, the assistants. It seems as long as people are getting paid, they don't care if an artist is self-destructing. Sorry, but I don't agree.

There is no doubt that drug addiction has caused way too many losses in this industry, just as it has with acting.
and while his drug charge was dismissed after he served the terms of his probabtion, I'm for letting them perform.
What I stand for more is stricter sentencing & that celebrities be treated no different than the average citizen.

If that was the case NO ONE would perform Still not an excuse and not true. Look Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, Foo Fighters ( no recent charges).

Okay, so 3 people..... (just kidding) I agree but it's almost like drugs & music go hand in hand and it's horrible. I also agree everyone just turns a blind eye & it's just so Sad.

Re: Get off your Rich As*es
I love Bruno Mars. Cee-Lo co-wrote his album. Love them both. Love his comment too...cracked me up.
It seems that fame and fortune confuse people. I think getting into drugs and alcohol can happen when you can have too much of everything. People blowing smoke up your butt..Not everyone succumbs to it but fame, power and money can change you and make you think it's ok. You are not rooted in reality. Addiction is tough to beat no matter who you are.
I don't think these days automatically do drugs and music go together. I think it's more fame and fortune.
