And this is why, he shouldn't be rewarded with Grammy's. What a tool.

Chris Brown Twitter Temper Tantrum

ETA: what I said below: I meant he doesn't seem like he's humbled or greatful by his award. It's almost like he feels it's owed to him.

So therefore I feel he doesn't deserve the honor. Also with him personally that Grammy is enabling him to act like an asshole.

While I hate him on a personal level, if we had to not give awards based on people personal life, not many would get them!

ITA too. I dont care for what he has done in his personal life but his music is still great IMO. There are plenty of artists out there who lead less than perfect lives, how many rappers have gone to jail or been arrested? That doesnt mean they should or dont have a successful career

I cannot stand him, even if it weren't for the Rihanna thing (which, if the rumors are to be believed, they are still hooking up Chat Icon ). He is incredibly immature and I really cannot believe he thinks he should be rewarded with Grammys.

he is jerk but he is a great artist you can't judge talent on what people are like personally.

Many rappers have been in jail or admit to selling drugs, being in gangs, etc.

Many singers have had serious drug problems or have other issues.

Re: Glad to see those Anger management classes worked for ya Chris brown

Going to prison for drugs & being in a gang is not the same as trying to kill someone. He not only beat her, he choked her to the point where he was trying to kill her. How he wasn't sent to prison for that is beyond me.

On a personal level, I cannot support people like him - people like Roman Polansky, etc. I don't think they should be rewarded in their professional life when they are such degenerates in their personal life.

I agree with this -- I can understand why he was given the Grammy but to be glorified, showcased, and asked to perform TWICE gives a feeling of tolerance from the music industry, IMO.
But then again, I'm still PO'd about Kobe Bryant keeping his job/status as a superstar, etc.....

I agree....I change the station anytime one of his songs comes on b/c all I think about it what a POS he is.

People like him don't deserve to recieve awards such as a Grammy b/c of talent. It's setting a bad example for society. It's better off going to all those who are talented and making a positive impact on the world.

I will probably get flamed for this...and have by others in IRL at times, but this is how i feel:

I cannot separate talent/intelligence and morality. I'm not saying everyone needs to be a super moral, do no wrong kind of person, but to me, If i don't respect you as a person, if i think you are cruel to others, if i think you are a liar or a cheater, I cannot respect any talent you have, and choose to ignore it. That goes for musicians, politicians, actors, lawyers, etc. If you are not honest in one area, why should i think you will be honest in another? and if you are just plain mean or vicious to others, i choose not to contribute any money to your success or fame, because it makes you think you can be a complete sH t head in one area of your life, and still succeed overall. if people didn't support you, maybe you'd realize you need help or need to grow up.

I can not stand him. I think he is way to into himself and think the PP who said that he and Kanye need to get over themselves is correct.

It isn't just about abuse to Rhianna for me. it is his whole demeanor.
