ok I picked my dates
I feel like a am being a planning freak
But I want the baby to be born during a certain time of the year and am also factoring in if he/she comes early so Dec I will stop taking the pill and Jan 20th -23 we are going to be busy

Just don't be disappointed if your dates don't work out- Having been a Christmas baby the last thing I wanted for my child was a birthday the same time of year and here we are due early Jan.

I think it would be ideal, as a teacher, if I could deliver a child just before the summer break in order to take maternity leave AFTER the summer to maximize my time with a newborn. BUT life throws curves and I may not conceive according to any type of schedule. In fact, I more than likely will NOTconceive that way. I wish it were that easy, but I'd hate to put that type of stress on myself and DH - again, that would be too technical for me. I know many teachers who try to have a child this way and then they end up disappointed. When its supposed to happen it will.

when I had my daughter it was right on the mark I new the week i could get pregnant and it happend during that week that was 7 years ago so who knows.....

This when we've discussed me coming off of BC. If we are lucky enough to conceive right away (age is a factor here!), then I'll be preggo through the summer months which I've always NOT wanted to be. But we don't want to wait much longer than TTC by this winter, especially since we do want more than 1 kid - G-d willing.

Good luck, but Life doesnt always happen that way. I of course Pray that you are able to conceive when you want and need to...yet we picked our dates as well and we have been trying over a year and a haflf now, so Im a big believer in not waiting....

....Exactly. I thought it wouldn't take more than a month or two and I'd have a November or December baby, but so far...I'd take anytime of the month/day/year/century.
