On the day of iui
On the day of iui do they do an internal to see where the egg is and the size? do they do any monitoring right after?
Also I've heard it's pretty quick. How long can i expect to be there for?

I had to wait about an hour for them to wash the sperm and then they would do the IUI. The IUI itself was quick and then i would lay there for 10-15 minutes. No sono that day but I would go for a beta about 2 weeks after.

It's very simple. they wash the sperm after you drop off and you return. They do the iui which literally takes a minute. Then they use the internal sono wand to show you where the sperm is swimming. You just lie there for 10 minutes and then you go home. that's it! Good Luck!!!

i had a sono because i was doing natural ovulation not a trigger... he said my follie had collapsed which was good.

Sperm was washed and then they inserted it. I waited about 1/2 hour for them to wash it and then about 2 minutes for the IUI. No blood or sono.

I think certain RE's are different...at RSNY I didnt have bloodwork or sono that day of however at NSUH I think that they do sono's the day of.

I never had any testing done the day of the IUI until this past (first) cycle at LIIVF. The PA did a quick sono immediately before the IUI to see if the follicle collapsed.
