AETNA-DMO and ped. dentist

Hello,
Does anyone have AETNA-DMO as their dental insurance? Can you recommend a dentist that is good with young children from the plan? We went to see a dentist that was fine for me and DH but he wasn't so wonderful with DS. Now DS has a cavity and I would like to have it looked at by someone. I live in North Massapequa but I will definitely travel for a good dental experience for my kid!!
Thanks so much!!

Thank you! I wish I had the option of paying out of pocket. I simply can't afford it!! This is one thing I miss about my job was the great health and dental plan I had and didnt't know it!

I just take DS to my dental practice. He's seen my dentist who is ok with kids. But there is a female dentist (have to think of her name) that is supposed to be wonderful with kids and she typically takes the peds cases-though i've never seen her. I think i'll let DS see her the next time i take him. The practice is in Lake Success. Not sure if that is too far. And my dental last year was Aetna-DMO so I know they take it.

I'm trying Kiddsmiles which is a pediatric dentist. I'm not sure if they will take your insurance but it's worth a phone call. I believe they have a few locations.

Check out their website: kiddsmiles.com

Good luck!
