If you used or will use a baby nurse/doula...
...for when the baby is/was born, did you love your baby nurse or doula?
Was it ridiculously expensive?
I need recommendations please.
Not sure what to do. We had someone lined up to come help out when the baby is born, but she may not be available, because the fam she is working for (full time) wants her to stay longer and I can't possibly make her leave a full time thing to help me a few days a week.
I am having my 3rd CS in 5 wks and have a 3year old and a baby who will be turning 1 when this one is born
I think there is no question that I will need help for a little while, but I don't know where to start.
I was comfortable with the girl who was supposed to help, but not sure what to do now.

Re: If you used or will use a baby nurse/doula...
I am absolutely in love with our baby nurse/nanny. She is FANTASTIC. Most baby nurses I looked into only care for the baby, ours cares for our toddler as well. I need her for the next 3 weeks while I recover from surgery I just had Friday. I would love to keep her forever, but I am a SAHM and that is not in the budget
FM me for more details if you are interested.
