Fertility / Ovulation
I've heard conflicting info. So I'd like to know what the majority says.
Can you ladies please tell me? While ovulating, what days are you most fertile?
I've heard the day before and the first 2 days. But I also read the last day. So which is right?
TIA

Re: Fertility / Ovulation
From what I read, you should consider yourself fertile when you have "fertile cm" which is considered "watery" or "egg-white" in texture. You can have fertile CM a few days before you actually O, and on the day of O. Normally it dries up after you O and your temp rises. But some people still get it after they O.
So, your best bet, IMO, and from what I read, you should BD at least the 3 days prior to O, the day of O and the day after O.

I think Melissa gave a good answer. I always figured about 2 days before

DH found a great website with this kind of information..... if you go to the site, there is a toolbar on the right.. under section Getting Pregnant...go to TTC Tips and Tools...create a conception planner... put the date of your last AF in and it will give you the fertility dates, granted it only works if you ovulate on schedule, however if you know when you ovulate it is helpful in telling you what days you are most fertile prior and up to O.

Re: Fertility / Ovulation
If your reguler with your periods and say a 30 day cycle, on day 12 start with the Ov kits, If you buy a ov kit and your not reguler it will be able to give you an idea when to start doing the kit.
When you start the kit, is when you start to have sex, that is five days leading up to a positive Ov kit that is when you are fertile. The most fertile is the day you get the positive on the kit and the day after. You will also see stretchy possible.
When taking clomid to get pregnant, you can regulize your period, which helps you ovulate, and gives you a good chance of concieving, If you go further then clomid, you would do all this plus IUI. IUI is the day after the positive Ov kit.
