Pediatrician-West Islip, NY??
Hello ladies! Hope everyone is feeling well
I live in Islip and am looking for a GREAT pediatrician for my new lil girl!! We had seen Dr. Mariwalla in the hospital for 3 days and then once afterwards in her office since baby was jaundice but I am not sure we love her. She doesnt seem very talkative and am looking for someone is is awesome with both us as new parents with millions of silly questions as well as great with the baby and knows their stuff! Any recommendations???

We just switched to Suffolk Pediatric Associates and really like them so far. There are 3 doctors in the practice: Dr. Woletsky, Dr. Zanolin and Dr. Nancy.

Re: Pediatrician-West Islip, NY??
I live in Islip also and go to RBK Pediatrics on Montauk Highway by Taco Bell. I also switched to them after a bad experience with the pediatrician I chose before our DD was born. I have seen Dr. Reilly and Dr. Ryzova and they are both great. The office staff is also really helpful and I get a call back within the hour when I call with a question. It looks like they are opening a new office by King Kullen which I'm excited about.

We use Suffolk Pediatrics & I've been very happy with them. They've always been very helpful & patient with me & my lists of questions

We are probably going to use Dr. Kolathu Mathew in West islip. My OB uses him for his 3 children - and we love our OB so we figure he has to be good!

This is who we use too, for the same reason! I bet we have the same ob
I usually see his son in law, Dr Eldose George at that practice. He's great, so patient and I love that he brings us back to his office after every single visit and takes the time to let us ask any questions we have. All 3 drs are good though, I think I just like him the most because he came to the hospital when DS was born. Their staff is great too, I love that they remember us.

I go to Dr. Klein/Dr. Egre at their Massapequa office, but they have a West Islip location and deliver at Good Sam.
I mostly see Dr. Klein and LOVE him, however.... I have issues with his staff. Nevertheless, he is worth it.

Re: Pediatrician-West Islip, NY??
I use Dr. Marriwalla's practice for my daughter and will for our new baby due in July. I totally understand what you mean about her being quiet, but I do have to say that they are pretty good other than that. Dr. Nagpal is great (he is the only man MD) and the other 2 PA's are great. I really have not had a bad experience in the 4 years I have been taking my daughter there. Just wanted to let you know....

Hi Randi Which Dr do you see at this practice?
Because I am new there, I have seen Dr. Woletsky and Dr. Nancy. They like for you to see all the doctors first that way you can decide who you are most comfortable with for well visits. I have heard really good things about Zanolin, he seems to be a favorite, but honestly the 2 that I have seen already were really nice.
My son is a toddler and once they are older they start to not like going to the doctor. Doctor visits can be overwhelming and cause anxiety. Both doctors were very calming and hands on with son. They never made me feel like I had to control him or keep him calm myself. Dr. Nancy sat on the table with him to do his exam. He hurt his foot and Dr. Woletsky sat and talked to him and made him laugh before he looked at his foot. They were both extremely good with DS and to me that is very important.
