Any ladies out there have IVF fail more than once and still get their BFP?
I'm trying to destress and let go of a lot of the negative emotional baggage I've accumulated over the last 2+ years of IF and go into this 3rd IVF attempt with positive vibes. But as a "poor responder" and after 2 failed IVFs, 2 ectopic pregnancies, and 2 CP, I just feel like it's not going to work...again.
I could really use some success stories!

Re: Victorious Die-Hards
Yes three fails poor responder as well. 4th time was a BFP for me. Protocols mean everything in this journey and unfortunetly the tweaking of it is a PIA but it works and sometimes you have to think out of the box
Best of luck

Re: Victorious Die-Hards
Yes. 3 IUIs, 1 m/c and 1 c/p and success with IVF #5. I was also a poor responder and had DOR. Just speak with your RE about having your protocol changed if you don't have success after each time.
Good luck. Don't give up if you have the resources.

How did they tweak the protocol?
Dr. Brenner doesn't seem to think protocol is that much of a factor after a certain point and wants to put me on a low-dose protocol.

Re: Victorious Die-Hards
Me. 12 or so failed IUI's, 2 failed IVF's over 4.5 years of IF. The BFP cycle was converted from IVF to IUI. You just never know. You just stay in as long as you physically and mentally can. It's all you can do.

Re: Victorious Die-Hards
I went of the pill almost 8 yrs ago. I had numerous IUIs, saw 4 specialists and on IVF 5 I got my BFP. My DS is 9 weeks old. Don't give up! Try and stay positive. I know it's hard but it will work. I was never pregnant, never got that BFP till IVF 5, actually I say it was 4 1/2 since I stopped IVF 3 mid way. I also took 6 cruises, went away a lot, saw lots of plays and had lots of fun in between all the treatments. I look back and knew that it happened now for a reason.

Sorry, I just saw this. I tried lots of different protocols: Estrogen Priming, Lupron Flare, with BCP without BCP. In the end the one that worked was no BCP before stimming and these drugs:
4 iu human growth hormone (the wonder drug for me); 600 gonal-f, down to 450 after 3 days; 2 vials of menopur; 25 iu ganirelix after 6 days; and dexamethasone daily. I also did 100 mg DHEA; vitamin D; 3 mg melatonin and a prenatal every night.

Re: Victorious Die-Hards
Me! Took 4 1/2 years but after 6 IUIs and 4 IVFs I got my BFP. DS is almost 22 months and we are currently trying for DC #2. Im doing IVF #5 after 2 miscarriages (conceived naturally!) last year.
