Moms of smaller babies -
When did you switch to the convertible car seat. The girls (11 months) are only about 14lbs and 16lbs and still fit in the infant carrier perfectly. Plus its nice strapping them in the seat in the house and then carrying them out. But the carrier is still kind of heavy to carry.
Is it time to bite the bullet and put them in the convertible car seats?

I didn't do it until they were just under 20lbs. 13 months i believe we switched. I would have gone longer if i could but the carriers were getting way too heavy and with me being pregnant, DH didn't want me carrying them in the car seats.

My boys are almost 7 months and they are 14 and 16lbs too. I plan to hold out till winter is over. April/May.

my girls are 6 months and 11 lbs. I plan on milking these infant car seats for every bit that I can.
