I worked there many years ago (mid 90's). From what I remember, yes, they were seperated.
The preschoolers stayed in their classrooms all day and the campers were in the "Village" and I believe went on many field trips outside of the building.

Have you checked out Wee luv'em at the VA? I used to work there and I would highly recommend all classes/programs that they offer.

My colleague raves about it. His son has been there since an infant. He is now 3. He highly recommends it.

Re: Tutor Time in E. Npt
My daughter is in the "twaddler" program 24-30m in Commack. I think its great. She learns a lot there and seems to look forward to going. On the weekends she sometimes even tells me she wants to go to "school" :-/
In the AM I drop her off in "Preppers" 30-36m so shes hangs out with the "big" kids till 8am when her teacher arrives. I like that too because I get to know the teacher in the next room she will go in and she gets to see the older kids and emulate them. Im hoping potty training works that way
