World’s ugliest dog, Yoda, dies in her sleep
This made me so sad when I saw it this morning! Yoda was so cute!!!

She had a ruff reputation, but a heart of gold.
Yoda, a 15-year-old Chinese crested and Chihuahua mix who was crowned the World’s Ugliest Dog in 2011, died in her sleep on Saturday.
“I will miss her funny little ways!” her owner, Terry Schumacher, wrote in an email to the Hanford (Calif.) Sentinel. “But comforted by knowing she will be joining Mom and Dad, who loved her so much! Her memories will live on forever!!!”
The late dog will keep her title until the ugliest dog for 2012 is crowned at the Sonoma Marin Fair, the contest’s producer told the Associated Press.
While the crown may seem like an insult, the pint-size dog won $1,000 and a free hotel stay.
According to the contest’s website, Schumacher’s daughter found her prize-winning pup in a field when she was 2 years old.
“I told her to put it down because I thought it was a rat,” she said.

Aww that's sad.
Though I'm still not entirely convinced it's not a rat.
