Re: Baby K'tan vs Moby vs Balboa Baby Sling
The big reason I did the Moby was that it could be used at birth and offered some awesome holds. The Katan if i recall is not encouraged until baby has head support and I honestly don't know about the balboa. I LOVE my Moby and at 4 months we're still going strong in it and he LOVES it! It is his prefered method of being held and or carried even over just regular carrying. My DD was not baby worn and loved being alone and not really held. She loved her car seat adn prefered that in church. Now Sawyer has been worn since we were released from the hospital and hates the car seat for church or any reason. Totally love the Moby My only suggestion is get black or brown. I bought a beautiful aqua and realized it matched NOTHING I own I am a walking what not to wear episode

Re: Baby K'tan vs Moby vs Balboa Baby Sling
the K'tan is my favorite. it does the exact same thing as the moby (and yes, you can wear it from birth) and you can wear it all the same ways, but you dont have to deal with all the complicated wrapping like with the moby. its very easy to use... even I figured it out! lol. the moby is good, but i didnt love all the fabric and the hassle of wrapping. i never loved one shoulder slings like the balboa because they hurt my back too much. i like ones that go over both your shoulders.
