Finally! I feel better about Kindergarten!
We had the Comsi ( readiness testing) at the elementary school today. It was done by a K Teacher, the school psychologist, the Speech and O/T therapists.
I LOVED THEM ALL. They all LOVED noah, they took to him so fast it was almost weird, they kept saying they couldnt wait for him to come to K. so I felt good, knowing they would 'remember' him, they were really giving him a lot of praise and attention. The Speech therapist was super nice, gave me lots of advice!
Then the O/T told me she used to work at Dove and Island Therapies and gave me sooo much info and connection info , I was so happy!
And the BEST part is , she whispers sort of to me....Yes I am An O/T and need to follow school O/T guidelines but I believe in sensory intergration , thats what I do and thats what I teach and I utilize it with everything. She said if your son has sensory issues, you want him with me. I literally took a sigh of relief! I told her we have not had the CSE meeting yet but CPSE is reccomending 2 o/t GROUP sessions a week and she leaned in and whispered, Well Ooopps, what if I cant schedule another student at the same time, and he gets me one on one.
I loved her! 
I just feel so much more secure knowing the people who will be supporting him now!

That's awesome! They sound like a great team!!! We do the same thing at the district where I work with making a group an individual by not being able to schedule another child during that session  It offers a ton of flexibilty have group on an IEP because we can try out different things as the child is ready for different ratios.

I really feel about 50% better. I was having nightmares about how this could go down, but he has also been making progress socially, so maybe this is an upturn!
