Flying with 8 month old twins?!
Hi gals!
DH & I are planning a trip with the boys just before they turn 8 months old. Its ~ 3 hour flight.
Any tips or advice so we aren't "those people" on the plane?!
I think we are going to bring the snap n go with the car seats so we'll have those for the rental car. Planning on gate checking the seats and keeping them on our laps. I'd love to bring the city mini but I think the sng is the smarter choice - right?!
We booked seats with extra leg room so we're not so cramped with them.
Where do you change diapers on a plane?!

Yes I would def bring the snap n go. We traveled when they were 6 months old and that's what we did. We gate checked everything and it was pretty easy.
As far as on the plane. You change them in the bathroom...its a bit tight but manageable. Bring toys, DVD player if they are into that yet, puffs (if they have them) a bottle for take off and landing. It is not too bad at all.
We just flew again at 13 months and it was a little tough to keep them entertained bc they just wanted to get down and walk the whole time!!!
Good luck and have fun!

Re: Flying with 8 month old twins?!
we just got back with flying with the twins to hawaii and they were 7 months -
we used the snap and go and gate checked the car seats and snap n go
the way we did id my dh would break everything downand I would hold both boys. The he would carry the diaper bag on the plane and any walk our 2 year old and then i would bring the twins on. We usually had bottles made ahead of time and he would get everything sorted out in each seat- we could not sit next to each other because there are not enough oxygen masks in each grouping of seats for 2 lap infant next to each other. Some planes you can sit across the aisle.
getting off the plane my dh would go off first and get everything set up and then i came off with thekids when everyone else got off the plane
it is not a bad age to fly - they loved looking around at all the people - just have something for them to suck on as going up - going down is harder because it is longer. My boys have problems withtheir ears so igave a motrin an 1 hour before landing and everything was good
good luck and enjoy your trip
peopel were really helpful in holding a baby or grabbing a bag

Thanks so much for the advice and encouragement girls!
Snowprincess, if you can go to HI with a 2 year old and twins, I think we can handle FL!
