Hi Ladies I am New.... Miss my Daddy <3
I have been looking on boards for some time now and once and awhile will make a comment or 2, but thought this board would be best for me.
I recently lost my father, it has been almost 2 months. We were really close and his death came so suddenly. My whole family (Mom, me and my brother) are taking it really hard, my mom and me the worst.
Every day is hard for me. I used to speak to him almost everyday :( I have good days and bad. Our family has always been close but I feel like with the holiday season, it has been extra hard. Seeing my DH's family all together is difficult at times because my family isn't complete anymore ;(
How do you all cope?

i feel your pain some minutes are so hard, i was just crying so hard in my work bathroom, just keep talking about the funny times

I am with you on so much of what you wrote. It has been 2 months since we lost my Dad also. Today would actually have been his birthday. I miss him terribly. Some days are harder then others. Sometimes a song on the radio sets me into tears. But I try and allow myself to cry, even if I am with the kids, even if I am busy running errands. Not like I walk around sobbing, but it is okay to shed a tear here and there. Noone expects us to keep it all bottled up and I think it is healthier to let it out.

I wish I found this board a year and a half ago!
I know how you girls feel ... I lost my father in June 2010, and I never stopped thinking of him. The pain does not go away, it only gets easier to deal with. to each of you!

I also lost my dad suddenly over the summer, so this holiday season was hard for me too.
I know exactly how you are feeling, it stinks to see other families so happy when you feel like your family will never be that happy again.

I am so sorry i'm writing this weeks after I posted, haven't been on as much, so worried about my mom
Happy Birthday to your dad. I wish I knew what to say because I know I will be a wreck on my dad's birthday in February. I'm trying to think what I would want to hear on that day, and honestly nothing comes to mind because what I really need to hear is my dad's voice!

i just lost my husband march 17th...me n my 2 girls miss him so much..he was only 29 and taken way to early..beat cancer n went in for the bone marrow transplant to make sure the cancer never came back..walked in cancer free at stony brook hosp and he never came home. we have a 6 year old n 9mth old lil girl..im so ***** lost..ahhhhhhhh i cant deal with this
