Hounds town USA reviews ?
I tried searching and can't really find much info.....
They have a new location in Farmingdale & a groupon for a week stay so I'm curious if they'd be good to leave my puppy with when we go away or not ??
I'd really appreciate any feedback ! TIA

Re: Hounds town USA reviews ?
I replied to your FM but wanted to put this here too for anyone else looking at them. I did have a bad experience with my dog getting injured and an employee lying to me about it at the Lake Ronkonkoma location. She lied because it was her dog that got into the fight with mine.
I didn't feel comfortable bringing him back, because the lie was reprehensible in my book. It was 3 years ago so I don't know if that girl still works there, but a manager I was in contact with from Port Jeff didn't seem too concerned about her lying to me. Terrible.
I'll give more details to anyone that wants to FM me.

Jack goes to the daycare and I am impressed with the level of care and detail the staff provides. How they know each dog by name, i will never know. LOL I have spoken with the owner on several occasions in passing, and he is really concerned that the 'campers' are well taken care of. jack also has a private sitter, FM me if you want details

Re: Hounds town USA reviews ?
We used their Lake Ronkonkoma location. I have no idea if it was the car ride home or if my dog was traumatized but he was shaking pretty bad in the car after we left. I called up periodically to see if everything was ok and they always said he was fine but my preference would be to leave him somewhere where they had cameras. Unfortunately they seem to only exist in the city.

Aaww !
I definitely like the idea of camera's and a place that has someone there overnight too. We decided not to use them and will look into in-home pet sitting in the future.
Thanks everyone :)
