Michael Jackson Immortal Tour--getting there late??
I have tickets to tomorrow night's Michael Jackson Immortal Tour/Cirque de Soleil show at MSG---start time is 8pm. I've been to plenty of concerts that MSG and most start way later than the call time.
I won't be able to get to MSG until at least 8:30. I thought I'd be fine getting in however, my friend thinks that entering the show after 8pm is going to be a huge problem.
I don't know who else to ask--what do you guys think? If you've been to a Cirque de Soleil show, did it start on time? Any idea who I could call for this info? General MSG?

I have no idea about the show, but just in general... even if the show did start on time and you were 30 minutes late, how would that be a huge problem?
ETA: Even if the show does tend to run late, i'm not sure you would get anyone officially involved with the show on the phone to tell you that.. they'd probably say that the show is scheduled to start at 8 but there was no way for them to know if it would be running late... but it might be worth a shot

Every Cirque show I've been to has started on time. They should allow you to enter at 8:30 though. People show up late all the time.

This.
Plus you can miss stuff in that half hour. Generally its like a big story. They will start with thier 'clown' if you will to warm up the crowd. Generally about 15mins - 30mins or so depending on audience participation.
For me tho, with Cirque every minute is worth it!
