My Review of the First Time Homebuyers Seminar w/Beth from Exit Realty
I just wanted to take the time to tell everyone about the FREE first time homebuyers seminar that Beth from Exit Realty was offering.
Even though DH isn’t a 1st time homebuyer, I am. So I know nothing about what it takes to buy a home.
We were provided with a note pad and pen as well as other information about everything being offered during the seminar. Once the seminar began I didn’t stop writing until the last speaker was done. I walked away with a ton of notes, knowledge and feel better prepared about what’s to come. Everyone speaking was, friendly, amazingly knowledgeable, not to mention there was great food and drinks provided!!
The mortgage speakers were a HUGE help to us, giving information about what exactly are closing costs, the different types of mortgages available and what to expect during the pre-approval process as well as other information. There was also a real estate attorney and a home inspector. The home inspector let us know what exactly to expect during the home inspection process as well as what is and isn’t covered during the inspection. The Real Estate attorney let us know what to expect during the closing and why it’s important to work with a real estate attorney. Beth gave great information about choosing a real estate agent as well as reasons why you want to work with a buyer’s agent vs. working with the seller’s agent.
If anyone is thinking about buying a house in the future I say 100% to check out the seminar that Beth is offering FREE of cost. There is NOTHING better then being prepared, especially when it comes to the most important purchase of your life. I’m now excited and look forward to working with Beth instead of feeling lost with a ton of questions.
