Which would you find harder?

Being around a pregnant woman or being around a mom with a newborn baby?

My sister in law is pregnant with their first baby. She is due to give birth in July. I was due to give birth in september but now that I have miscarried that is not happening.

I had to cancel a planned vacation to see my family due to my miscarriage and now need to rebook. The decision lies in whether to go before she gives birth and see her and her pregnant belly or go after she gives birth and get to meet my new nephew / niece but have to cope with all the emotions that that will bring to the surface.

I LOVE my brother and his wife and as this is their special time I will be so mad at myself if I start to cry or get emotional around them. I know from experience ( this is my second miscarriage) that my hormones and emotions cannot be contained. I found it very difficult to be around a pregnant lady after my last miscarriage and could barely be around my nephew who was 2 months at the time.

I am having huge anxiety and sadness over this and need to book my tickets soon.

Any advice?

Honestly, I think either way will be hard. It's 10 months since I lost my son and sometimes it hurts seeing pregnant women and sometimes it hurts seeing newborns. It depends on the day.

The anticipation will probably be worse than anything. That's how it is for me anyway.

I would be honest with your brother and sister-in-law. Tell them how much you want to visit and see them but also let them know that it's not going to be the easiest thing for you to do. Let them know that emotions are all over the place and to have a little patience with you -- but that none of that means that you aren't happy and excited for them.

Pregnant people. I dont know why but being around babies doesnt bother me.

Both but i think seeing pregnant women at the moment is harder because Im suppose to have a big baby belly now and i dont so the whole comparsion thing. But i think around my due date and after that seeing newborns is gonna hit me really hard. If i even see a newborn pic on my FB now, it causes my day to be ruined because it induces my depression .

but at this point ... I would have babies of various ages and I'd be 20 something weeks pregnant right now.

So, basically it all bothers me..... Blahhh
